To assess the resilience of automotive electronic systems, Stancer Testing-Lab performs radiated immunity testing for applicable vehicle and component programs. Vehicle-level immunity testing may be performed according to applicable UNECE Regulation No. 10 (R10) and ISO 11451 requirements, while component and Electrical/Electronic Sub-Assembly (ESA) immunity programs may use applicable ISO 11452 methods. Test levels, frequency ranges, operating modes, and performance criteria are selected according to the applicable standard, OEM specification, and test plan.

Conducted emissions testing evaluates radio-frequency disturbances present on automotive power and signal lines. Depending on the equipment and test program, component-level conducted-emissions measurements may be performed according to applicable CISPR 25, UNECE Regulation No. 10 (R10), OEM, or manufacturer-specific requirements. Testing helps identify coupling paths and interference sources that could affect sensitive electronic and radio systems installed in the vehicle.

Our harmonics and flicker testing evaluates power stability in automotive electrical systems. Testing up to 32A, we ensure compliance with automotive power quality standards, helping to maintain system reliability under real-world conditions.

At Stancer Testing Lab, we perform surge and burst testing to assess vehicle and component resilience against power surges and electrical transients. This testing helps to identify potential vulnerabilities and ensure long-term durability under varying electrical conditions.

Vehicles and automotive electronic systems are exposed to electrical transients generated by switching events and disturbances on the vehicle supply network. Stancer Testing-Lab performs automotive transient testing for Electrical/Electronic Sub-Assemblies (ESAs), including applicable pulse testing such as Pulses 1, 2a, 3a, 3b, and 4 according to ISO 7637-2 and related OEM or regulatory requirements. These evaluations help verify the immunity and functional robustness of ECUs, sensors, converters, communication modules, and other automotive electronics.

Stancer Testing-Lab relies on its sophisticated testing system for performing comprehensive set of electrical tests designed to verify the robustness and reliability of automotive electronic equipment when exposed to real-world vehicle power supply conditions. These tests cover steady-state and transient supply voltage variations, including overvoltage and undervoltage, voltage drops and short interruptions, and reset behavior as well as dynamic operating conditions such as engine starting profiles, momentary voltage dips, and slow voltage changes. Testing against severe electrical disturbances including load dump, superimposed AC ripple, and repetitive transient pulses is offered by our Lab.
