WiFi & Bluetooth Wireless Testing Services
Stancer Testing-Lab provides WiFi, Bluetooth, and wireless RF testing services for manufacturers developing connected and radio-enabled products for North American and international markets. Our laboratory supports regulatory testing and RF measurements for WiFi, Bluetooth Classic, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), dual-band and multi-radio devices, IoT products, and other wireless technologies.

WiFi and Bluetooth compliance programs may combine RF transmitter measurements, EMC evaluation, FCC and ISED requirements, and European radio-equipment testing in a coordinated test plan.
WiFi Testing
- 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax protocol testing
- 2.4 GHz — FCC Part 15C testing using ANSI C63.10 and ETSI EN 300 328.
- 5 GHz — FCC Part 15E testing using ANSI C63.10.
- 6 GHz / WiFi 6E — FCC Part 15E and ISED RSS-248.
- Dual-band and tri-band devices
- MIMO and beamforming evaluation at maximum power.
- DFS 5 GHz U-NII-2A/U-NII-2C requirements can be addressed through an appropriate testing pathway when applicable.
Bluetooth Testing
- Bluetooth Classic (BR/EDR) — all power classes.
- Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) — all channels.
- Bluetooth 4.x and 5.x devices.
- Adaptive Frequency Hopping (AFH) verification.

RF Measurements
Stancer supports RF measurements applicable to WiFi, Bluetooth, and other wireless transmitters, including:

Standards for WiFi & Bluetooth Testing
FCC Part 15.247 / ANSI C63.10

FCC Part 15E / ANSI C63.10
Applicable to U-NII devices operating in the 5 GHz and 6 GHz frequency ranges. Specific requirements depend on the operating band and device characteristics.
ETSI EN 300 328 V2.2.2 (2019-07)
Harmonized radio standard covering wideband data transmission equipment operating in the 2.4 GHz band, including applicable WiFi, Bluetooth, and Zigbee products under the EU Radio Equipment Directive (RED).
ISED RSS-247 Issue 2 (2017) & Issue 3 (2023)
Canadian requirements applicable to digital transmission systems, frequency-hopping systems, and licence-exempt local area network devices, including applicable WiFi and Bluetooth equipment. Additional Canadian regulatory information is available on our ISED Certification page.
ISED RSS-248 Issue 1 (2021) & Issue 2 (2022)
Canadian requirements for licence-exempt RLAN devices operating in the 6 GHz band, including applicable WiFi 6E products.
AS/NZS 4268 (2017)
Radio equipment and short-range device requirements applicable to wireless products intended for Australia and New Zealand.
5 GHz European WiFi
For European 5 GHz RLAN products, ETSI EN 301 893 may apply for demonstrating conformity with the radio spectrum requirements of the Radio Equipment Directive. Testing should be performed under an appropriate accredited scope when accreditation is required for the applicable conformity pathway.
